REFERENCES DO THEY ALL MATTER?
NO!... I would bet you never expected to hear NO! Planning an event is a very long process and most have no idea of the details involved. After you narrow the list of vendors down to the final few what step is required to verify their credentials and confirm a positive track record?
It's a trend to ask for references. If a business has no positive references it's agreed they should not be considered. However, I know of no business that would offer BAD references. 'As one of the highest awarded mobile DJs in the country below I've listed direct comments from past clients, an NFL coach, a few congressman, senators and state governors.
I have the original copies all listed customer evaluations, photographs, endorsements and evaluations in my office for your viewing. If you would like additional testimonials or references from clients I perform for presently please call my office and I'll furnish contact details.
I really haven't answered my above statement that "All references don't matter" What's more important is discovering a track record of un-satisfied clients? How do you find out? During your research I recommend you contact the Better Business Bureau on the vendors you plan to hire and research if they have had any complaints filed against them. This will enable you to see any Bad references and will give you peace-of-mind.

What a fantastic and professional job. You handled our event smoothly, even though some of our other professionals did not - and our guests never knew.
JAM was "Johnny on the spot" and worked very well with our photographers coordinating all of the special moments. Our photographers spoke very highly of him and enjoyed working with him for the first time.
Our Guests all raved about his performance and a good time was had by all! In the Client-Evaluation of service form we received, It asks what he could do to improve his service. Well, the answer is nothing! I/We cant think of a single thing that we would have changed. You did an excellent job and we will always have wonderful memories because of it
We are Thankful for all his hard work,

Dear JAM of "iJAM Productions Inc."
After being in the wedding business as publishers assistant for the Wedding and Party Planner Magazine for five years, I was well aquatinted with many of the DJ's in the Tampa Bay area. When I was planning my own wedding, I certainly had a number to choose from, but my decision was easy because an unsolicited recommendation was made on your behalf by several other wedding professionals. These companies attend several weddings every weekend and after seeing so many others, told me about your very unique style.
Well they certainly were right! You worked with the others involved and successfully programmed a smooth operation! Everyone had a wonderful time (even Greg Snow commented on your professionalism) and it was great knowing that my wedding day reflected everything I wanted and was not a carbon copy of all the weddings performed before mine.
Your special touch suggestions and dynamic personality Made My Wedding day absolutely perfect!
Mr. & Mrs. Tottle & Darlene Beiner
Kapok Pavilion "Grand Ballroom"
Thank You "JAM"
Jerry and I wanted to make sure that you know how glad we are that we selected you to be the DJ for our wedding reception. Your deep rooted professionalism and the personal touch that you added made it a extraordinary time for all who attended. We have had so many people tell us what a fantastic time that they had and most of that is a direct result of your performance.
One of the things that I was most concerned with in planning the wedding was the fact that that being the do-it-yourselfer that I am, I found it difficult to rely on others to bring it all together, yet everyone I counted on followed through. As for yourself, both Jerry and I felt that we could not have selected a finer or more qualified master of ceremonies than yourself.
We, also would like to thank you for referring the other vendors to us as he did an outstanding job and the way you all worked together is a genuine display of respect and camaraderie for others to aspire to.
On behalf of both Jerry and myself please accept our deepest gratitude for making our day so entertaining, gratifying and certainly unforgettable..

You Were Great "JAM"
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! You played a major role in the success of my daughters wedding. We are still having guests comment on what a wonderful party and how much fun they had. Many have asked "Where did you brig him in from he can't be from around here"? I just tell them that you were a gift from God. Really, I will refer you to anyone that has a need for a DYNAMIC DJ. Have a great Holiday.
Mrs. Linda R. Roe
President of Roe Financial Corporation
Thank You JAM
Phil and I thank you and your assistant who worked with you the day of our anniversary party. You did such a fantastic job! We had many comments on the "great" DJ, which pleased us very much to know that a good time was had by our guests from around the country. We would not hesitate to call you if/when we need the services of an Emcee/Disc Jockey again. It will be our pleasure to recommend "JAM.'s Entertainment" to friends, family or others for any special occasions.
Thanks for helping to make our party a special day by providing great music and great fun. You are very personable and fun master of ceremonies, and everything went off perfectly (Mike is still trying to figure out who Michelle is and how he can meet her).
